Tajik national experts, representatives of the Committee for Environmental Protection and administrations of Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, Khatlon and Sughd regions were trained and learned from the EU experience on air quality management as part of the EU’s tailor-made support to Central Asia on environmental project preparation. The training was organised by the EU-funded project WECOOP and aimed to assist Tajikistan in improving its air quality monitoring and management capabilities.
